STD codes of DELHI

Delhi, a union territory and the capital of India, uses a single STD code for all its districts. The main STD code for the entire region is 011. This code applies to all areas, including major districts like Central Delhi, New Delhi, South Delhi, and West Delhi.  

Calling Delhi Landlines from Within India 📞

To place a call to a Delhi landline from any other district or state in India, you must use the '0' prefix followed by the city's STD code and the local number.  

• Dialing format: 0 + 11 + local number
• Example: To call a number like 24567890 in Delhi, you would dial 01124567890.

Calling Delhi from Outside India 🌍

When calling Delhi from an international location, a different dialing format is required. This format includes your country's international access code, India's country code, and the Delhi STD code, without the '0' prefix.

• Dialing format: International access code + 91 + 11 + local number
• Example: To call a Delhi number from the USA, you would dial 011911124567890. The '+' symbol can often replace the international access code on mobile phones.
